Plenty of firms describe themselves as drainage contractors and then hand you to someone else the moment a job needs digging. Diagnosis and drainage inspections

Every job starts with a look at the pipe. CCTV drain surveys record the condition on camera, and a CCTV survey report grades each defect to WRc classification so you can compare one inspection with the next. Drain tracing with a sonde and locator gives route and depth where the pipe systems on site were never drawn up.

Clearance and drain cleaning

Drain jetting clears fat, silt and root growth using water alone. Gully emptying, silt traps and our tanker services deal with what comes out, and waste removal is covered by transfer notes for anything taken off site. We are drain cleaning specialists as much as a repair firm, and commercial drain cleaning runs on the same kit.

Most drainage problems we are called to can be put right without excavation. Drain relining pulls a resin liner through the damaged section and cures it in place, giving a new pipe inside the old one with a design life of around 50 years. Patch lining does the same over a single crack or open joint.

Where the pipe has gone completely, or the fall is wrong, drain replacements mean digging. We reinstate the surface and the paving afterwards, water-test the new run, and lay everything to Building Regulations Approved Document H. Sub-soil drainage and ground water are dealt with as part of the same job where they are what caused the failure in the first place.
